I shot and edited these all with the ipod touch, and iMovie application. Rate, comment, Enjoy and share. The vids are in order from top to bottom, chronologically. Peace and Love to all my new friends and family. now swag me out with the play count…

NAB Day 5 Wednesday

Day 5, we spent it on the floor again. My boss at WKTV has me on the lookout for a few things, but lets see if we can sneak some fun stuff in there. Watch the videos!

Today is the last full day I will be at NAB, and Las Vegas. This very well may be the last blog is this series. If you liked it, show a friend. If something cool happens tomorrow, I’ll update.

NAB Day 4 Tuesday

Today is the first day I walked the floor. I would say it’s more distracting than the Las Vegas Strip! Basically I wandered around for a few hours, drooling over all the sweet equipment they were demoing and selling. Panasonic, Sony, Cinemate, Sennhiser, Cannon, Glidecam, everybody is here. Got me drooling. Stop for a quick lunch, then I’m back to it. Just watch the video clips….

NAB Day 3 Monday

Monday has been the busiest day at NAB by far. Seems like most people have started attending the conference at the beginning of the week. I attended all Apple Motion classes today. The first was detailing Motions color and paint capabilities, next was about the replicator, which is a super powerful tool. The sessions are giving many good ideas on how to incorporate the more features if the software into my projects. The third session I was in talked about making motion templates through Cinema 4D, Apple Motion then saved to FCP. I am now on information overload. But one more session to attend today, about a case study comparing coverage from CNN, CBS, and NBC. Showed how they told the same story in three different ways with narration and the same b-roll. The presenter mostly criticized the coverage. I agree, same biased coverage. Def laying low tonight…Out

NAB Day 2 Sunday

Today, was a shorter day for the sessions. Nate arrives today too. I attended a very good Soundtrack Pro workshop, that really opened my eyes to how powerful the software is for indie filmmakers. Noise reduction, compression, and EQ. It was very cool and I am excited to get back and really dig into the software. The morning session I attended was Audio Tips for Indie Filmmakers, it was taught by the same guy in yesterday’s audio class, I found most of the info to be a repeat of yesterday’s session. Saul good doe. Holler later. Prolly laying low tonight. Here are some videos from my iPod. There arendt only YouTube, www.YouTube.com/bdamon004

NAB Day 1 Saturday

I attended a couple different conference sessions today at NAB. We arrived to the Las Vegas Convention Center early to plan out our week. The first session I attended was at noon, which was about Audio techniques used in the field. Learned a lot of simple but necessary steps to get good audio in most scenarios in the field. In a nutshell, the biggest lesson for audio is this, always monitor with headphones and the difference between good audio and bad is 3ft.

The second session was about mastering and advanced operations of Final Cut Pro. This session was so informational, it was almost too much. Almost. There were two men teaching this session and they would jump all around in the Mac OS System spewing out tip for everyone to ooooh and awww at. That’s not sarcastic they were really good. But they would jump around so much, from OS tips to FCP then to Motion, they were all over the place. I kinda wished they focused more on the Final Cut Pro side of things. Hitting the town tonight…
