At first on this blog, I was just posting my own experiences with video production. You would also see the occasional technical specs on a project or some photoshop pics of me; you know little experimental projects. Now as I want the blog to grow and get bigger, I have been posting mostly other rap videos that I like and commenting on production quality. I will still be posting my own work up occasionally, but as I wanted to blog more frequently, I decided to showcase other videos that I myself enjoy watching. Hope you enjoy, thanks for reading. Now for some background on who I am.
I am a professional in the Television Production Field. I graduated from Ferris State University with a Bachelors degree in Television and Digital Media Production (08′). I am currenty a Production Coordinator at WKTV, that’s Wyoming/Kentwood Television Community Access. I produce television and edit video on Final Cut Pro. www.wktv.org . I also do freelance work on a regular basis for Coastline Studios. At Coastline I shoot weddings, usually with a crew and about 3 cameras, and multi-cam edit them on an Avid system. I enjoy doing my own video work, doing some “dramas” and music videos, in my spare time. For my own freelance work I’ve been working for AT&T shooting small business videos for online profiles. As for the name, “Blog Shorts”… It’s like that pair of shorts you own, that you always wear when you blog. …you know everybody’s got them. They’re your blog shorts! You’ve probably been blogging in the same pair for years! I’ve got mine on right now.
Awesome stuff! (Though, your blog takes FOREVER to load, and that’s with a speedy connection!) Love what you did for Marissa, where do you live? Looks like you liking travel and my love of video projects could be mutually beneficial if you live in a SW city!
